Mercier,
renaissance of the French brand

Mercier is reborn after more than 40 years of absence, the brand has found its roots. Emile Mercier, the son of the historical founder, is re-appropriating the brand that bears his name to create a line of high-end, hedonistic cycling technical apparel.

A way of life

Mercier breaks away from the conventional by not just offering a simple line of technical apparel, but a French way of life, that’s quite an undertaking. This French heritage honors a certain way of approaching life. Just like on a racing bike, pushing oneself to the limit, the solidarity of the group, the wonder of discovering new roads and the joy after a ride are all metaphors for life at Mercier.

Extreme quality and ethical manufacturing

The line is developed in the French Alps and handcrafted in northern Italy with textile materials largely made in France. Beyond this highly developed design and manufacturing technique, Mercier is a state of mind, a religion. Its commandments are simple: live and consume life like a Sunday morning on a bike, with good humor and enthusiasm. Physically give your best, surpass yourself. Be interested in and support your teammate when they’re in your slipstream. Laugh at everything and out loud. Marvel at the nature that surrounds us. During breaks, take the opportunity to discover a good restaurant or share a sumptuous meal with the peloton, accompanied by good wine and local products that will be consumed without moderation, only the moderation necessary to cover the remaining 60 kilometers to return home and find your family, your home.

Mercier positions itself against Rapha, the Italian brand that has become an international benchmark and has experienced an incredible success story since 2004. Mercier claims very French values that it wants to share beyond borders.
